What is a modular kitchen?
A modular kitchen consists of individual kitchen elements that can be freely combined to create a custom kitchen. Unlike a traditional built-in kitchen, the individual modules are not permanently connected to form a continuous kitchen unit. This allows a modular kitchen to be flexibly adapted to different rooms, floor plans, and living situations.
At STADTNOMADEN, this principle is taken to its logical conclusion: The individual kitchen modules can be combined in various ways, supplemented with additional elements as needed, and—depending on the living situation—rearranged as well. This allows a kitchen to grow along with its residents and their needs.
Both A la carte and MODULAR by STADTNOMADEN combine the flexibility of a modular system with the functionality of a fully equipped kitchen. The sink, cooktop, storage space, and other kitchen elements are arranged into a custom configuration—from a compact apartment kitchen to a spacious family kitchen.
