  We are over the moon with our new A La Carte II kitchen! It is a rare gem in the world of cooking and kitchens. We have discovered the general concept of modular kitchens some 25 years ago, and we have never wanted a traditional kitchen ever since. You can easily change the configuration, or even take the kitchen with you when you move (like a 'city-nomad') . We have actually done so several times, using the original kitchen modules in a different place or setting. Buying a modular kitchen has proven to be a very sustainable investment for us. But with our children and family visiting us from countries around the world, we now need an additional kitchen, for our family short stay apartment. For this 1930’s apartment in Holland, with contemporary style elements, we have recently bought a set of 4 modules A La Carte II. The choice was relatively easy. There were, and still are, very few modular kitchen systems on offer and the Stadtnomaden kitchen is by far the best we could find in our 2 years search. In terms of construction quality and design, we have seen nothing that might come close. We are no purist design freaks at all, but the brilliant, super smart marriage of form and function of the Stadtnomaden product sticks to you: once you’ve seen it, and touched it, you know this is what you’ve been looking for. Quality is present in all details: from the heavy duty raw materials to the choice of appliances and brands. This is exactly what ‘Made in Germany’ is famous for the world over. Communication with Stadtnomaden is easy, prompt and to the point. We have had no problems with shipping and delivery, and service/advice has been great. When choosing Stadtnomaden, you are dealing with the owners/designers themselves, a huge difference compared to kitchen stores, dependent on large brandnames and factories. That shows off in a personal approach, and a service oriented attitude. Other products, with equally stunning design, have caught our attention in the webshop. We will probably come back for more.
